We are Floridians again!!
I can't believe it some days, it seems like Kentucky was just a blur ( a good blur though). We are settling into our "temp housing" for the next month or so and trying to remember our way around town. It is coming back slowly since there has been a TON of new construction around here. Orlando is a growing town.
I took Anniston and Grady to our old house to show it to them and they have it back on the market for DOUBLE what we sold it to them for less than 5 years ago. That alone should tell you why we are crying about buying a house here!!! We put down money yesterday on a house and should be in it right before Christmas. This has been a very trying few weeks here to say the least! But it is really good to get back with our church family here and begin to reconnect with all of our friends. If you ever have to move, make sure you move somewhere that you have live before!! It makes it so much easier!!!
I don't really have any interesting news to report or clever questions to ask you guys, my brain is pretty much shot these days...
I just wanted to let you all know that I hadn't forgotten about the 3 of you out there that check in on my blog from time to time!!

THINGS ARE WORKING OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE
We found out yesterday that this baby is a boy and we are shocked and thrilled. We both thought it was a girl and really hadn't thought about it being a boy at all. Now we have to readjust our train of thoughts. It is a strange feeling. With both of the others, we were correct in our hunches, so this has hit us out of left field. We are VERY happy with the baby though!!!!!!! (boys seem to be a little less dramatic and I think God gave me only enough patience for one girl!)
Anniston is really handling everything well these days and was actually happy when I told her about the boy. (She has prayed every night for a girl). She seems to be having a good outlook on the move right now and hasn't cried much about it lately! Thank you all for your prayers!!
As for the move, we found a house in Orlando and today got an offer on our house here!!!!!! We are on cloud nine and floating around! God has answered our prayers time after time and He has such wonderful timing. We are praying still that things will go smoothly for us during this move and period of adjustment. It's gonna be a doozy!
Well, that is all of my ramblings for this month ; ) I am sure I will post after we get moved, we only have 5 more days here in L'ville. (Now I am sick to my stomach!)

WELCOME TO MY CRAZY LIFE
I know it has been two years since I have posted, but I have some good excuses!! We are busy with our house on the market trying to keep it presentable. That has been the "easy" part. We are moving in less than a month back to Orlando and are working every day on the fine details of mega-corporation relocation mumbo jumbo. Who knew that they wanted to pick our realtors in Louisville and Orlando! Anyway, we do have a LOT to be thankful for these days and I don't mean to complain, it's just that my already shrunken brain is having a hard time fitting more info in. The calendar is full from here until we leave and it seems to be getting busier by the minute.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this move less stressful for my kids? Anniston is already having a hard time thinking of life after her friends here. She has so many buddies and loves her preschool. It breaks my heart when we talk about it with her. She doesn't even want to leave this house. She was 4 months old when we moved in here and the thought of leaving it seems unrealistic to her.
I am trying to figure out what to do with the kids on the days that they are packing and moving us. Do I let them stay and watch the whole process (and get in the way) or send them to mom and dad's house for those days? Please pass on any wisdom you might have for me. I am lost!!

DING DONG CRAZY'S GONE
The neighborhood I live in is down one crazy these days!! Our neighbor across the street has moved out (with help from the local police)!!! Now, before you all tisk, tisk me...she really was crazy!! I am sure she has OCD because she digs rocks out of her yard and arranges them by size in the gutter leaving behind 12" deep holes in the ground. Not only that, but she mows the lawn at 10 pm and spreads the grass clippings on a tarp on her driveway and smells it. The tree in her front yard is practically horizontal because she dug all of the rocks out from the soil around the roots and didn't put the soil back.
Now, I do admit that a little of her "crazy" rubbed off on me, because I find myself watching her and not wanting to do anything away from my front window where I can keep my eye on her. So of that I am guilty. But I have yet to use a strainer and garden hose to clean off the rocks that I dig out of my yard. (That production went on for weeks and I wasted many hours trying to figure out the method to her madness)
We (our normal neighbors and us) have learned that the other cul-de-sacs have different nicknames for her. Some of which are "the rock lady", "the digger" and "the woman digging her way to China".
Anyway, not that there aren't more important things to write about, but this is what is happening in the Hills of Beckley Station these days!!!

after a long pause...

I AM BACK!!! or I am back until I get lazy again!!
I just got in this afternoon from NY. I went to see Scott, my brother. He lives there now and we crammed a LOT of stuff into this weekend!! Let me tell you, if you EVER have the chance to see the Broadway show "Wicked", DO IT!! It was fantastic! I would see it many more times. You can download some of the songs off the computer (don't ask me how, but Scott did it so I know it can be done!)
I ate a LOT of great food and bought new clothes (Northwest lost my luggage) and purchased "Louis Vuitton", "Coach" and "Prada" bags from secret rooms in small stores in Chinatown. I am keeping the Prada and gave the other ones to my friends that kept the kids while I was gone. I really think that Wicked and getting those bags were the highlights of the whole trip!! There is just something about dancing/singing witches and buying illegal products that just gets my heart pounding!!
We went to the Manhattan CofC and would you ever believe there were 6 people that I knew in some form or fashion. All of them were through FHU and they weren't all together. It was so weird. Such a small world.
Well I am going to take a short rest, the kids are asleep and I got up at 5:15 to catch the subway and the plane. I AM WORN OUT!!!
I am going to try and publish the pics we took there. There are only about 8 or so, don't get excited!!

GRASP THIS!!

I have been doing my Bible study on the Holy Spirit (Beth Moore) and I was blown away with the way she brought it all together. Thought you might enjoy reading it too:

"The same God who willed, spoke, and energized the universe into being directs all His care and distinctive direction to your precious life. He continues to direct you through these same methods: the Father first wills, the Son speaks the Father's will to you through His Word, and the Holy Spirit supplies the power for you to obey. Have you been feeling a little insignificant lately? unimportant? How's this for a change in perspective? The entire Godhead is intimately involved in your daily life using the same power and glory with which he commanded creation into being. He must find you rather significant!"

I don't know about you but that is going to get me through the day!!

upward forever

Hey, is there anyone out there that has seen or heard about the movie "Click" with Adam Sandler? It is about a remote control for life. You can rewind, fast forward, pause, etc. real life.
I would be interested to see which button you would use most often. I think mine would be rewind. Since I walk around with my foot in my mouth most of the time, it would really come in handy.
There are also things I would have handled/done differently if I had only known what I know now. (Thank you God for grace)
I think I would rarely use the fast forward button, simply because I do know now, that with life comes wisdom and I don't have the wisdom that I will need to get through the future. I might use it if I ever give birth again, but that is what epidurals are for!!
Let me know your thoughts on the issue! (If you care at all! HA)
